I skyped my friend Brian Mulvaney, someone who knows something about everything, the other day and asked him what he was reading. He said William Gibson’s two books “Pattern Recognition” and “Spook Country.” He also said “I learned more about marketing from these two books than anywhere else.” That caught my attention. Then he said “I just sent it to you.”
Two days later “Pattern Recognition” showed up in Amazon cardboard and I’m half way through it. He’s right. It’s the perfect book for feeling into viral, influential marketing that’s here today, but just not evenly distributed.
